UK MRV reporting from the data you already collect

Since Brexit, voyages to and from UK ports are reported under a separate UK MRV regime.

Why it matters

ShipManager uses the same voyage and fuel data you collect for EU MRV, and separates what the UK needs, so one set of logs covers both.

UK voyages, monitored and reported separately

UK MRV applies to ships over 5,000 gross tonnage calling at UK ports, regardless of flag. As with EU MRV, operators need an assessed monitoring plan and must report voyage data every year.

One log on board, two regimes ashore

Crew record each voyage once in the deck and engine log. ShipManager uses the same data for EU MRV, UK MRV and operations, so nobody keeps a parallel spreadsheet for the UK.

UK data separated and ready for your verifier

ShipManager separates the voyages and emissions that fall under UK MRV, so your accredited verifier gets a clean, traceable data set.

  • Voyages between two UK ports
  • Voyages between the UK and ports outside the EEA
  • Emissions generated in UK ports on those voyages
  • Fuel, CO2, distance, time at sea, cargo and transport work
